Benefit Plans

Medical Insurance

We provide multiple medical plan options to best meet diverse needs, including a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), and a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP/HSA).

Dental

Our generous dental plan includes orthodontia benefits for children and adults.

Vision

Vision coverage allows for annual eye exams and the purchase of lenses or contacts every 12 months and frames every 12 months.

FAMILY FORMING BENEFIT

We offer benefits from Carrot to provide access to fertility treatment, adoption, surrogacy support and egg, sperm or embryo freezing. You and your spouse/domestic partner are covered at no cost to you.

Financial Benefits

401(k) Savings Plan

Our 401(k) savings plan provides our employees a tax-deferred way to save for their futures. We offer an employer match contribution of up to $7,000 annually.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan

Employees may elect to participate in the purchase of Dynavax (NASDAQ: DVAX) common stock at a discounted rate twice per year.

Work/Life Balance Benefits

Personal Time Off

Each new hire is eligible to earn 20 PTO days per year for vacation, sickness and personal needs.

Holidays

For 2024, Dynavax will observe at least 17 paid holidays, including a year-end shutdown.

Employee Assistance Program

We provide our employees with a company paid employee assistance program (EAP).

TUITION REIMBURSEMENT

We offer a tuition reimbursement program for all employees.

LIFE & AD&D INSURANCE

We provide group term life coverage and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance to all employees. Employees may also purchase supplemental life insurance for themselves or for a spouse and dependents at group rates.

LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE

We provide a company-paid Long-Term Care insurance benefit for our employees.

MENTAL HEALTH & WORK-LIFE SERVICES

Spring Health is a precision mental health benefit offering screening, care navigation, and virtual visits with therapists and/or psychiatrists, plus life coaches. We have partnered with Spring Health to support your mental health with Work-Life services for employees and immediate family members with access to resources, information and counseling that are confidential and at no cost to you.

We provide a wellness program that offers reward-based fitness challenges, on-demand fitness classes and virtual wellness services.
