Improving Public Health
At Dynavax, our mission begins with patients. We focus on developing vaccines with safety, efficacy, and accessibility at the forefront, leveraging our CpG 1018® adjuvant technology to develop potentially best-in-class vaccines to address urgent public health needs. From HEPLISAV-B®, our adult hepatitis B vaccine, to our pipeline of novel vaccine candidates for shingles, plague, Lyme disease, and other public health threats, we are advancing science where it can have the greatest impact.
Beyond product innovation, our commitment extends to rigorous quality and safety oversight, ensuring every vaccine we produce meets the highest standards and can improve public health at scale.
Community Engagement
We believe strong communities are essential to a healthier world. To build sustainable partnerships, we work with local and national organizations to support education, health, and equity. Every U.S. employee receives two paid volunteer days each year, empowering them to make a difference in their local communities. In 2025, our teams partnered with nonprofits nationwide, from food banks to after-school programs.
We also invest in the next generation by supporting our local school district through scholarships and mentorship. Our ongoing collaboration with Life Science Cares, along with our internship program in partnership with Project Onramp, helps address poverty and close opportunity gaps. Through charitable donations, volunteerism, and strong community connections, we remain committed to driving corporate social responsibility and creating a lasting impact where we live and work.
