Medical Insurance

We provide multiple medical plan options to best meet diverse needs, including a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), and a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP/HSA).


Our generous dental plan includes orthodontia benefits for children and adults.


Vision coverage allows for annual eye exams and the purchase of lenses or contacts every 12 months and frames every 12 months.

Financial Benefits


401(k) Savings Plan

Our 401(k) savings plan provides our employees a tax-deferred way to save for their futures. We offer an employer match contribution of up to $6,000 annually.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan

Employees may elect to participate in the purchase of Dynavax (NASDAQ: DVAX) common stock at a discounted rate twice per year.

Work/Life Balance Benefits


Personal Time Off

Each new hire is eligible to earn 20 PTO days per year for vacation, sickness and personal needs.


For 2023, Dynavax will observe at least 17 paid holidays, including a year-end shutdown.

Employee Assistance Program

We provide our employees with a company paid employee assistance program (EAP).


We offer a tuition reimbursement program for all employees.


We provide group term life coverage and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance to all employees. Employees may also purchase supplemental life insurance for themselves or for a spouse and dependents at group rates.


We provide a company-paid Long-Term Care insurance benefit for our employees.


We have partnered with Spring Health to support your mental health. Spring Health is a precision mental health benefit offering screening, care navigation, and virtual visits with therapists and/or psychiatrist.
